Yet, Evgeniou also affirms that her content is not meant to replace therapy altogether and is mainly meant to be quick and easy-to-memorize guides to help people develop the skills necessary to navigate different mental health issues. All this is why the mental health infographics by Andrea Evgeniou are relevant to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal of Good Health And Well-Being.

One example is her R.A.I.N Infographic, an acronym for Recognize, Allow, Investigate and Nurture—a technique to help people manage distressing emotions. Staying true to the technique’s name, the infographic shows rain clouds in different stages of precipitation. As the rain clouds go from light rain to a heavy pour, which then stops altogether, Evgeniou’s audiences can visualize the steps contained within R.A.I.N, giving them a quick and easy guide to memorize the steps when they will eventually need them.

According to the American National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) one in five adults in the United States of America (USA) are living with at least one form of mental illness. In 2022, this amounted to 59.3 million people, roughly 23 percent of all adults in the country. The sheer number of people who are living day-to-day trying to navigate different circumstances that take a toll on their mental health is why accessible tools such as Evgeniou’s infographics are essential.

Andrea Evgeniou’s mental health infographics provide an accessible and empowering resource for those navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. By offering simple tools she equips individuals with practical strategies to manage their emotions and well-being. While these infographics are not a substitute for professional therapy, they serve as a valuable complement, helping people develop essential coping skills.
