ALYSSA’S UNITED NATIONS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOAL

GOAL 6: CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION

Whilst living in China, Alyssa gained a new appreciation for the UN’s commitment to Clean Water and Sanitation by 2030. This sustainable development goal resonates with her the most because access to clean and safe drinking is no longer something she takes for granted or expects to just flow magically from her kitchen tap.

ART THAT CHALLENGES THE STATUS QUO

The type of art that inspires Alyssa is art which challenges the status quo. For that reason, she appreciates art with social or political messages or implications. Let’s just say, she’s a big fan of the Donald Trump Baby Balloon.

SELF-PROCLAIMED COFFEE SNOB

Alyssa is a self-proclaimed coffee snob and caffeine addict. As she conveniently resides in Melbourne, home of the world’s best coffee, she has no trouble procuring a perfectly made flat white every morning/afternoon/night.

GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT

Alyssa’s greatest achievement is backpacking around the world for a year and never missing a single flight. She says traveling for 13 months and living out of a tiny backpack was nothing compared to the willpower and organizational skills needed make it to the airport on time. Admittedly, she missed quite a few buses, trains, ferries and belongings along the way.
