In partnership with York University, GIANT Containers and the Economic Club of Canada, Arts Help has launched Project Climate Change (PCC).
Project Climate Change (PCC) is a movement for a green world, with sustainable communities, sustainable procurement, local labour and a zero-waste and zero-carbon lifestyles for ALL Canadians (both individually, commercially, industrially and collectively). We are inquiring into the question: What if the impact of humanity on the planet was net-positive for the ecosystem?
Climate Solutions Park (CSP)
The First Flagship Initiative of Project Climate Change is Climate Solutions Park (CSP). The goal of the CSP is to be a global leader in showcasing climate change solutions. We are creating an inspirational facility at York University for : experiential learning, networking and innovation opportunities; we’re showcasing cutting edge Climate and Sustainable Community Initiatives right here at York. Our research is cutting edge. We are including art, inspirational displays and new learning-by-doing training opportunities carefully curated to showcase how to solve the climate emergency, and connect communities.
York University is Canada's third largest interdisciplinary research and teaching institution. The university offers 25 interdisciplinary and collaborative research centres, with strengths in vision and space sciences, history and refugee studies, health, the environment, climate change, sustainability and digital media. With ten faculties offering more than 5,000 courses, and more than three-million annual library visitors .
